The Wallflowers (lead singer, pop, rock, favorite bands, album)

We need a thread for these guys on here. No one talks about them anymore.

Anyways, not sure if this should be in pop or rock? They're kind of a blend of folk, pop, and rock.

Anyways, one of my favorite bands ever. And Jakob Dylan is releasing solo work.

Heard of them? Heard their stuff?

Fun fact: Lead singer Jakob Dylan is the youngest son of Bob Dylan.

I would say they are both - pop and rock. (There's always some cross-over with these two categories).

They are quite mellow on some songs but, nonetheless, a great band.

I think Jakob looks a bit like Harry Connick Jr. - the two should make an album together. Might be a pretty cool blend.

Yes, they've had some really poppy stuff (When You're On Top, Josephine) to some more intense rock (Everybody Out Of The Water, Back To California). Overall, they're very melodic.

"From The Bottom Of My Heart", "The Beautiful Side Of Somewhere", and "Nearly Beloved" are other good ones to check out.
