iron maiden is probably more musically talented
but i like metallica's stuff better

You just said that Iron Maiden is more musically talented yet you side with Metallica. What's your criteria? Popularity?

i just prefer metallica's style of play

Therefore Metallica wins.

I love both bands but Iron Maiden is more talented without a doubt. I have several albums and CDs from both. A better comparison would be Judas Priest vs. Iron Maiden. Metallica vs. Megadeath would be a good comparison.

I've loved Maiden my entire life, since I got my first cassette which was Powerslave. I'm a Metallica fan as well, but I don't feel as passionate about them as I do Maiden.

I'm old enough to remember seeing Eddie on the front of the tape cover, awesome
