I was actually in a band that played a couple of covers of Converge songs for nearly eighteen months, and I'd never heard a Converge record until about a week ago.

^ amazing. and I am very glad you are active again. twas lonely without the good natured franscar to combat all the negativity on this damn site.

and LesPaul43 hardcore is really stuff like From Ashes Rise, Champion, Gorilla Biscuits, etc. But hardcore has evolved and one form of that is Converge

Must admit Converge tend to be a bit shouty for me. Small doses is pretty much all I can stand.
