ooh, i've only heard of them from metal hammer but havnt heard any of there songs. is there any songs that would be just wrong if i didnt download!!???

My personal favorite is "The Light at the End of the World"

some other good ones for first listeners is "A Cruel Taste of Winter" or "The Wreckage of My Flesh" or "The Dreadful Hours"

check out my post right before for songs. as for albums, anything except 34.788%...Complete. I really did not like that album.

Gothic Doom is normally a very cheesy style of music with cliche after cliche after cliche in the writing process. Considering My Dying Bride essentially started the genre, it's safe to say that they rise above such petty musicianship. And they do. The Dreadful Hours is an album for a cold night, when nothing seems to be going the right way for you. Turn the lights off, have a glass of wine, crank the volume, and let the despair overwhelm you.
