They're alright. But all their music pretty much sounds alike. Even more so than AC/DC. After a while, their music just sort of starts to blur together.

Accept is the only one I can think of.

Do Saxon really sound that much like AC/DC? I havent listened to too much of either in all honesty, but what I have heard there is a significant difference, the only song I can recall that you could make this argument for is Wheels Of Steel.

I saw Airbourne last year, if I closed my eyes, I could have easily mistaken them for AC/DC, I actually think they're better though. A bit faster, and a bit heavier.

I don't really hear to many similarities between Saxon and AC/DC.

Maybe later AC/DC (post For Those About to Rock) that came after the Saxon stuff I'm thinking of... but yeah, fair enough, Saxon is more Priesty if anything.

The Saxon argument raised by EvilChuck is probably relevant to this band, but:

TANK!

Wonderful band. Motorhead with bluesy riffs. Judas Priest after getting quadded.

My favorite album by them is "Filth Hounds of Hades", but "This Means War" is a great album as well. Good soundtrack for creating a hangover.

Airbourne are great. I heard of these guys a while ago but it wasn't until I picked up a copy of "No Guts, No Glory" that I truly loved it. Honestly the first time I heard these guys I thought it was a revamped AC/DC.
