Citizen King
Squirrel Nut Zippers
Possum Dixon

Yeah I was a child of late 90's college radio. It was Brown Universtiy, Damn Ivy Leauge intellectuals.

My sister would play the radio all the time and this would come on. Oh and Big3 I remember Harvey Danger, what became of them?

TheBig3 01-25-2006 07:58 PM

I don't know but they have some decent songs, off the top of my head "Flagpole Sitta" which was the single was amazing, and "Authentic" which never got much acclaim but did make the Dude, wheres my car soundtrack was less poppy, more rock and 12 times more badass. I mean, he rolled his R's heavy in that song. Check it out.

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 01-26-2006 12:10 AM

eh. no need to apoligize, i was just stating a fact. i know they fell off the face of the earth....and actually....i dont really care. the three that i mentioned really werent great bands, and the only reason i mentioned them was because they were the only bands that fit the topic that i could come up with.

Sugarhill Gang, everyone knows who they are by Rapper's delight but besides that they are unknown.

Urban Hat€monger ? 01-26-2006 08:18 PM

I saw Blind Melon live , they were rubbish.

To this day i`ve never seen a frontman try & start a singalong with the crowd & NOBODY join in

Marcy Playground was the band that made it.

Joan Osborne and Live are pretty much forgotten from what I can tell.

That was marcy playground.

How did STP get on this list, who doesn't recall them, they had one of the greatest songs of the 90's.

And SemiSonic should be remembered more ofr "Closing time" and "Singing to me in my sleep" than "smile" becuase that song was t-rash.
