Recently i've been getting into sugarcult, I wouldn't really consider they're more recent stuff pop-punk it has a bit of a heavier sound to it. Palm Trees and Power line and Start Static are probaly the best album, palm trees being the better one.

heheh...as soon as i saw the name of this thread i knew who you were talking about. that song used to be all over the radio.

they were an opener for some show i went to a while ago. i liked them alright, they have a decent sound, definitely not my favorite though. theyre not half bad live either, at least they werent when i saw them..

pretty girl might make a good acoustic cover for your band ethan.

definetely agree with you there, although i havent had much time to listen to the entire album of palm trees. i love sugarcult. pretty girl was one of my favorite songs when it first came out & i played it out like crazy. as well as memory. i definetely think theyre a pop punk band but theyre tolerable.
