This list is incomplete and doesn't include Django Reinhardt.

Therefore, it is invalid and pointless.

That is a very informative list of great guitarist RezZ. One of the better list I've seen on a music forum. I have been in many debate's about who is the best. And the answer seems to alway's end with, 'There is no best'. Only the best of the best. As to keep myself from being attacked by others, I usually state, 'Who is your favorite guitarist'?, etc. And even then, someone will always twist & turn the word's to fit their own criteria. So..,there are just to many different style's, & level's of talent, to state one is 'the best'. We all may have our individual opinion's on who is the best, But in the end. You will find that most musician's will agree, and come to the same conclusion....Peace Brother.

Exactly. There is a best though, its just different for each individual. As you said thats where opinion comes in.

Although technically the bet would be the gutarest who most people like most.

I voted other.

"Evil" Chuck Schuldiner (RIP) of Death. He in my opinion was a great technical guitarist.

Eddie Hazel anyone? Geesh.

Ok, he only really played one mega awesome song, Maggot Brain, but it was awesome enough.

I voted other.

Schuldiner is one of the greatest guitarists ever IMO.
