The anti offical black metal thread (lyric, genre, quote, bands)

Black metal is a bunch of death kids who got into the occult and tried to be "Tr00 KVLT!"

I personally don't like most Black Metal as it is in it's current form. I do however like some Ulver and Bathory although as far as modern BM goes, neither band is tr00 anymore.

i dont listent to too much black metal.. i haven't gotten too much into it yet.. but from what i've heard i like these bands ALOTTTTTT

dimmu borgir

those bands are all amazing.. so yeh..

I like Dimmu Borgir.

I hate most black and death metal, because a good deal of it sounds exactly the same, with what i call cookie monster vocals.

Dimmu Borgir are more diverse which is why i like them.

Those bands aren't black metal. Real black metal bands are made up of struggling black suburbanites from the impoverished ghettos of America. The sole purpose of black metal is to attempt to overthrow the government and mold America into a tyrannous hell, administrated by only the formerly most fortuneless of the poverty-stricken blacks.
