My fav song is probably Nutshell. The whole EP is great.

My fav line is probably one from Junkhead. "You can't understand a user's mind. But try with your books and degrees." Layne's delivery is perfect.

I'd kinda forgotten about Alice in Chains...

I still have their self-titled (or Tripod) purple plastic cassette!! I was pretty young then, but I still like God Am and Grind, and Sludge Factory.

The group does sound a tiny bit like Nirvana, but Laynes' lyrics are more to the point. Almost like he wrote before getting ripped. Kurt on the other hand, well....

I`ve never really understood why they`re a grunge band either , they just sounded like your average metal band to me at the time.

It really all sounds like Rock to me. Call it, Metal, Grunge, Hard Rock whatever... It's just sub-species classification.

I dont really like them, they are ok but never got why there considered "Grunge". To me there more of a hair band to be honest. But i do like the song "Them Bones"

If you like AIC, you have got to hear "Them Bones". It is one of there best songs in my opinion, and the guitar is really awesome.

I definitely like their slower stuff better than their faster stuff. They did gloomy and depressing really well but kind of sucked when they tried to rock out. Unfortunately, more often than not they opted to try and rock out.

The Rooster rocked.

GREATEST BAND EVER!

Would, Them Bones, Down in a hole, Rooster, Angry chair, Man in a Box, ... all classics, all!

Layne Staley RIP!

I like unplugged better than any of the others I've heard.
Nutshell would have to be my favorite song.

Alot of AIC fans would probably enjoy Mad Season.
It's kind of like a supergroup thing that Staley participated in.

If you want to hear anything, lookup the song "River Of Deceit".
