Some AiC songs I think they should consider playing live in the future:
"God Am"
"Sludge Factory"
"God Smack"
"Put You Down"
"Over Now" (That is the DEFINITIVE AiC closing song/but Would's okay too)
"Sea Of Sorrow"
"Private Hell"
"Am I Inside"
"Grind"

Overall they NEED to play more from the tripod album, I think all they played from that album at the show I attended was "Again." That is a great song and all, but come on! They couldn't replace "Dirt"(song) with "Grind" or something!?

Oh well, it was a great show none the less.

Well, "Again" was one of the only songs on that album that Layne did not write himself. I think that the band is refraining from redoing "Layne's" songs.

This is the song sung by Jerry Cantrell as a homage to Kurt Curbain?

AIC is definetly an influence to most bands today. If not they should be. I can't really seem to get into the new AIC without Layne. I like Jerry's "Degredation Trip" album, just wish he wouldn't have released the new album under Alice in Chains.

Most bands? I definitely disagree with that. I'm sure there are some here and there but overall I don't see it.

I disagree too, unless all you listen to is mainstream rock radio. They were an influence to many mid/late 90s and even 00s "alternative" rock bands already. Respect to AiC but we've heard enough of those. :p:

just because a band doesn't sound like a knock off of a band doesn't mean that a current band isn't influenced by a band. c'mon now.

I'm not talking about bands that sound like AiC knockoffs, I'm just talking about recent bands that bear any AiC influence at all. Like I said before, there may be handful but I can't think of any. Can you? I'm talking recent bands here, not late 90s nu-metal bands that are still putting out albums.

i would consider the band Hurt as having SOME AiC influence

I've never heard of them, but okay there's one band you can name. Still pretty far from "most bands".
