Favourite Judas Priest Album

so at the bar I go to the ongoing debate rages on (and gets worse as the cheap booze flows) Judas priest album: Nostradamus-modern masterpiece or theatrical nonsense-i personally feel it's one of there best recent releases, definately an evolution. I'm sure this has already been discussed but being that I am a disgusting and atrocious newbie i would love to hear where everyone stands on it. Spank you.

Metal Works is a compilation album by Judas Priest, released in 1993. I personally consider it one of the best (all around) albums released in the 90s. The whole collection is totally "Awesome" Metal by Priest.

My choice from the above poll would be "British Steel (1980)". The single "Metal Gods" is one of my favorite by Priest.

Screaming For Vengeance (1982) is killer. I like Point Of Entry (1981) as well. There all good if you like Priest.

I liked Ram it Down best, with Screaming right after it. Surprised that I was the only one who voted for it.

Personally, I prefer "Sad Wings of Destiny"..... not because the album is the most consistent, but just for the tracks "Genocide" & "Tyrant". The melodies are strong, and the tempos are relaxed but the song still have a great drive; you don't get bored waiting for the crescendo or a particular moment to come along.

it has a few tracks from Ram It Down and Point of Entry which i don't quite like

i prefer The Essential Judas Priest comp

Turbo (1986) hasnt been mentioned. Wild Nights, Hot & Crazy Days is one of the ultimate hair metal style singles from the 80s. Turbo Lover was popular. Dont care for it myself.

Sad Wings Of Destiny for me by far. I am not much of a Priest fan overall but I really do think that Sad Wings gets overlooked a lot and is far less bombastic and refined than their later output which just became a parody of itself.
