Foo Fanatic, how bout you tell us what you disliked about those bands you listed, so we can better understand your taste and have some basis for recommendation.

Thanks for all the replies guys, I guess I have some listening to do. As for the guy who doesn't like Dave Grohl I do not see how this is possible: Grohl is awesomely talented, a nice guy, and has a great sense of humor. . . what's not to like?

Awesome talent, but hasn't used it in a while. Not really since his drumming for Probot, though I don't really follow all his work. Grohl is the kind of guy who you respect for being multi talented but don't like because he bites off more then he can chew.
