Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band

any of you ever heard of these guys, they are a blues rock mix, i went to them two years ago, Kenny wayne Shepherd is a great guitar player, he was doing tricks with his guitar, get this, at the time he was in his early 20's.

They're good. I like the song "Blue on Black"

ZeppelinAir 06-11-2006 12:14 AM

that is a great song

gregb 06-11-2006 12:30 AM

great band, blues rock is badly needed

He's a Stevie Ray Vaughan disciple, who in turn is an Albert King disciple. Get some cuts from all three, back to back to back, and you can hear the blues family tree. Pretty cool.

yeah, blue on black, probly one of my favorites songs, awsome live, the band that opened up for them, a blues band from detroit or flint, they were good, all except when one of the drummers drum fell over

stakeraiser 06-12-2006 10:42 PM

his first two albums are good pick ups, can probably find them used pretty cheap

jramundson 06-16-2006 06:47 PM

The Place You're In is a great song.

Blue on Black is AWESOME. They are quite good. I forgot about them, but thank you for reminding me :)

Kenny Wayne Shepherd is pretty good. It gets redundant after while but, is nice for an every once in a while listen.

TheBig3 06-17-2006 11:59 AM

Yeah, BoB is the song that seems to have broken the monotony. That Alive creed rip off they did late career was terrible.

motley_crue131 06-17-2006 01:45 PM

their a great band. i think they wer better b4 they kinda went grunge. alive was still pretty good tho, and hey what do u say is good. but blue on black is def the greatest song they hav

ZeppelinAir 06-17-2006 10:49 PM

are you guys talking about the new albums, havent heard them yet, but from the way it sounds they were planning on making a rock one, then release a blue album, heard that about a year ago, so cant really say

swim 06-17-2006 10:52 PM

I'm talking about any and all of his albums. I can not sit down and listen to any of them. It's too repetitive.
