Sorry for the lack of updates, I’ve been waiting to have the actual masters back in our hands before I told you all that WE ARE DONE! Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. We actually finished mixing a couple weeks ago, but have been going back and forth with the mastering. I wanted to wait to say we’re done till we were completely done, but I felt bad for holding out for so long. Anyhow, I was supposed to get the revised mastering back today but it didn’t arrive for some reason. We should have the discs within the next couple days and if we OK it, then it’s all done. Other than that, we’ve started our search for a new label to get this project out to you guys. We’ll keep you all informed as things develop. But yeah, being done is nice. I was nearly going insane by the end of that. Phew!

I have a feeling theres going to be way too much filler.

I didn't really care for Vheissu, I liked probably four of the songs. So i'm not excepting much.

^I don't know, they planned on only like 5 or 6 songs per disk, I could picture there being a track of filler on each, kinda like a couple of the Vheissu tracks. Just have to wait and see considering they made such a leap from Artist to Vheissu it will be cool to see what they came up with this time.

sleepy jack 07-08-2007 07:06 PM

They've always made a leap except with the first two albums, their last three albums have been entirely different from eachother I imagine that will be the case with this one, it would be interest if each disc was different musically but I don't know. There has to be some sort of seperation per disc I hope its more than just the lyrics.

^Read all of alchemyindex.com I'm fairly certain that in their earliest posts they said that the music in each disc would directly reflect its element (Fire would be faster, earth would be solid, wind would be airy and water would be melodic).

I remember when i first got into Thrice and then reading up on them making this album i was soo stoked, im somewhat less stoked because i havent listened to them for a long time, but i will most definetly check the album out and im sure its gunna be pretty sick. The concept itself is really cool.

^Early on Dustin mentioned each disc having one track as a sonnet and that they would go along with each other to help to bring all the discs together. So yeah, I can't wait, they'll probably hop onto Equalvision to get it out considering Dustin's solo stuff is on that label.

Somewhat of a "teaser" for the new album.

Two new songs up that I've heard before on youtube, but this is better quality, Fire Breather and Digital Sea, the latter of which is really great.

sleepy jack 09-17-2007 10:59 PM

Yeah Digital Sea is alot better.
