I actually thought Hypnotize was less melodious and more aggressive than Mezmerize. In short I thought it was a step down rather than the step up we we were promised. I still do think it was good, but when compared to the first half of the album (Mezmerize) I honestly thought it had less dimensions.

It's pretty good. A few great songs, a couple meh songs. Mesmerize is better though.

Favourites: U-Fig, Vicinity Of Obscenity, She's Like Heroin, Soldier Side.

Least Favourites: Dreaming, Hypnotize, Lonely Day.

Okay, I didn't see any thread out there about System, so I thought I'd make one.

So tell me, what does everyone think of these guys? Personnally, this is my favorite Metal/Rock band ever, I love them, their almost my favorite, if they aren't already. What do you guys think?

Great band, I love there music. It feels so new and interesting throughout every song. I like their new stuff a lot but I like the older albums more. Plus their lyrics are awesome.

I think they're overhyped, especially on here.

They're okay. I don't really listen to them. Better music out there to listen to.

They get a bit boring after a while. Particularly their last album.

I liked Mesmerize, infact it was that album that pushed me towards getting their other albums. I do enjoy their older stuff but SOAD are a novelty band to me, it's a quick fix and not a band I'd frequently listen to.
