Yeah. In fact the only song i don't like on the album is that Beautiful World one. It doesn't suit his style, and just sounds weird.

I love this band..its one of my favs..yes Zach is a whiny rich kid complaining about being oppressed but lyrically he has it..but thats the greatest thing about them...instrumentally..they sound so different then anything I have been exposed to..and that may not be saying a lot..but they kick ass...

Music..talent..its about having a defining sound..its about making a name for yourself..simply..by playing music..doing something you love..doing something that people relate too...

According to MTV.com, AUDIOSLAVE guitarist Tom Morello's debut solo album as the NIGHTWATCHMAN will land in stores April 24. "One Man Revolution" will feature 13 songs, with Morello playing acoustic guitar and singing lead vocals for the first time. Morello, who has performed as the NIGHTWATCHMAN a handful of times — most notably at protest events — plans to tour this spring and will perform in March at the South by Southwest conference in Austin, Texas.

In related news, Billboard.com reports that rumors are gaining strength that Morello's previous band RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE may be reuniting for the first time in six-plus years to play the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this spring.

After RAGE split in 2000, Morello formed AUDIOSLAVE with his old band's rhythm section of Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk. However, AUDIOSLAVE is on hiatus while frontman Chris Cornell records a solo album and has no plans to tour in support of its third album, "Revelations", released last fall.

And while AUDIOSLAVE refused to play RAGE songs live on its early tours, the band eventually began incorporating them into its sets in summer 2005.

As for RAGE frontman Zach de la Rocha, little has been heard from him since the breakup, although he is said to be on good terms with his ex-bandmates.

Nightwatchmen is pretty good. Moses made a thread or something a while ago. So looking forward to that release. I'd like for ratm to stay dead, audioslave to go away and chris to realize he hasn't done anything worth mentioning in 15 years.

I have every album, they have that unique sound that I haven't heard before, now bands are trying to immatate it.

They're re-uniting for Coachella.

Or however you spell it.

Merkaba 01-22-2007 11:50 AM

Yeah heard that this morning on the radio too.

Lol I reckon Zach is going to be way past his use by date. I like the guy, but he sounded pretty crap last time he performed live with Rage.

I disagree, their one of the brighter spots of the 90's in my opinion. Reunions however are ever judged fairly, people right now have already decided how that performance will go.

I'd like to hear it though, but the California music rush strikes again. They never give the northeast a festival that works. And I think we deserve one most of all.
