Default The Early November

The Early November has come out with a new record "The Mother, The Mechanic and the Path." This is a special, three-disc set. Disc one is the more rocking side of the band while disc two is more of an acoustic/folk/alt-country offering and disc three is a conceptual soundtrack to the whole thing.

Check it out,

Carlie

i have been a fan of these for over a year and this 3 disc spectacular is awesome and a brilliant body of work , ace enders is a great frontman and his lyrical input is fantastic , out of the 3 cd's my favourite has to be the first one

I was really into them 3 years ago. Though, someone told me they ditched the whole acoustic thing to sound more FOB mainstream. Could you tell me how the album sounds, and if they still have that whole acoustic vibe?

I havn't listened to the whole thing yet but the first like, 10 tracks were all full band. I don't really like the new sound.

It's a good album. It does have some weak spots, but is still thouroughly enjoyable.

Everyone I know is freaking out and considering it genius. Its just generic, his voice is boring as hell too and can't keep me interested.
