damn you damn you... :P
i know about the split... i really cant wait for it to arrive, the artwork and packaging look stunning aswell. Have you heard Bloody Panda? i thought no band could be equal in a split with Kayo Dot... but they actually manage it. |
Why did I never check this band out before?
|
Because post-rock is just tedious?
OT: Tried to play 2 songs, after about 3-4 minutes got tired of waiting for the song to actually start...yawn! :| |

Kayo Dot
In wasn't sure where to put this thread, as they are a mixture of different genres. I like to think of them as avant garde though, either way they're a very good modern group.
Here's a song from their latest album that I really enjoy: Symmetrical Arizona And for fun: Gemini Becoming the Tripod Currently I have three of their albums including Blue Lambency Downward, Choirs of the Eye and Dowsing Anemone with Copper Tongue. Your opinions on them? Have you heard of them? etc. |
yeah I've heard of them. But then again I've heard of alot of things...

Search is your friend ;)
Kayo Dot Yeah, I like them. All three albums they've released have been superb. Some didn't like their last release, "Blue Lambency Downward", but it's definitely one of my favorite releases this year. Weird jazzy avant-garde experimental rock?! Definitely my thing! |
