He was mentioned before, but I don't think anyone comes even close to the God of Metal ("Halford voice can rip the flesh from the bones")

Looked 'em up and yes this person does indeed look like a male. Wonder why so many people think other wise?

Although...

I think I was watching that documentary Metal A Headbangers Journey and I thought I swore, while reading those two posts above discussing the gender of the Arch Enemy singer, I thought I remembered seeing the person in the documentary and remember them being a female...? Probably a brain toot.

They did have a male singer at first. Now they have Angela Gossow.

I don't listen to Arch Enemy and I never listened to very much of their earlier stuff so I don't really have any idea.

Phantom (Divine Necromancy), Devourment, Pig Destroyer, Suffocation, Dying Fetus

(I don't know the name of the vocalists though)

I'd have to say that Tom Araya of Slayer has a great scream. Judas Priest's Rob Halford, of course. Then there's Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickenson. I like Pantera's Phil Anselmo's scream on Cemetery Gates.

Johnny Morrow from Iron Monkey.

I'm convinced this guy is actually a monkey.
