Rap Rock
 

So what do think of people who try to mix rock with rap?


I am going to ask this in the Rap and Hip-Hop threads to.

Nu-metal sucks.

Beastie Boys own

Rage is the only band that blended it well. The rest...no.

The Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill as well, if you consider them 'rap-rock'.

Downset was ok, as was Urban Dance Squad. Mix them together and it equals something like Rage Against The Machine.

Rage.

I dunno. I wouldn't call the beastie boys rap rock. They were rock back in the day then they actually started djing and making better music so...I dunno.

Rage Against the Machine is an awesome band:)

Never cared for 'em myself.
