So what do think of people who try to mix rock with rap?

The Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill as well, if you consider them 'rap-rock'.

Downset was ok, as was Urban Dance Squad. Mix them together and it equals something like Rage Against The Machine.

I dunno. I wouldn't call the beastie boys rap rock. They were rock back in the day then they actually started djing and making better music so...I dunno.
