Obviously I'll respect your opinion, but I'm sure it's most likely influenced on which band you prefer.Hey, sometimes covers are better, but only to some, not to all.

I enjoyed Metallica's cover of "Die, Die My Darling" by the Misfits. I'll probably get bashed for this but I enjoyed the cover that Atreyu did of Bon Jovi's "You give love a bad name". (I think thats the title.) Haste the Day's cover of "Long Way Down" (originally by the Goo Goo Dolls) was good too.

I have a 10 Hour play list on my Media Player of covers. Here's a few good ones:

Shock The Monkey - Coal Chamber and Ozzy
Purple Haze - The Cure
Born To Be Wild - The Cult
One - Filter
Sunshine of Your Love - Fudge Tunnel
Cat Scratch Fever - Fudge Tunnel and Pantera (You can't mess this song up!)
Paranoid - Type O Negative and Megadeth
Hand Of Doom - Danzig
Sabbra Cadabra - Metallica
Children of The Grave - White Zombie
Hair Of the Dog - Guns N Roses (I think their version is better than the original!)
Fire - Alice Cooper (Better than Hendrix!)
Whiskey In The Jar - Metallica
Blitzkrieg Bop - Rob Zombie
Never Say Die - Overkill (BTW Coverkill is a GREAT album!)
Land Of Confusion - Disturbed
Iron Man - I have 7 remakes of this song!
American Bad Ass - Kid Rock (Used Sad But True as the music!)
Another Brick in the Wall - Layne Stanley and the Class of '99 and Korn
Monster Mash - The Misfits
Space Truckin' - Overkill
Deuce - Overkill
Overkill - Overkill

I have a ton more!
