Most Fanboy Ridden Bands??
 

for me at least:
Children of Bodom
Opeth
Burzum (and other minimalistic black metal)
Metallica
Iron Maiden
Tool
and most metalcore...

now i am a fan of all these bands, cept Tool

now im not saying these bands at are all bad, but the fact is they all have some pretty annoying fans and tend to overpraise/stick-up for every single one of their works

Dream Theater no question

Tool fanboys annoy me but nowhere near as much as this lot

they're fairly new to the music scene.
and only one song has gained the much populairty (Lips of an Angel)
The song they released before that (Get Stoned) didn't get them too much populairty,e ven though it's better (in my opinion)

Those are the bands that have something of a cult following. A Perfect Circle and tool deserve the following.

Slayer and Pantera, hands down

Pantera is a big hands down.
Tool is an even bigger hands down.
I say Muse have quite the fanboy base going on too.
