Default What's Happening?!?

OKay, i wanna know whats happening to our MUSIC!?!? Me, being a huge Metallica fan know that St. Anger wasnt so great...but lets hope for betetr this time around!(late summer, early fall) Oh, and what about Green Day? I mean I've never been a huge fan of them...but what the heck happened with that whole "American Idiot" thing? And another band...AFI? WHat is with this...?? WHat do you guys think?

I agree with Crowquill in that judgeing music off of a couple mainstream bands is pretty weak. Mainstream bands haven't made any good music recently anyway. After Classic rock it all died out in the less-extreme rock genres. As far as jazz and blues well it is still alive.
