The Almost (lead singer, album, quote, band, songs)

They're a fairly new band. The lead singer is the drummer/"backup singer" from Underoath, Aaron Gillespie. Me and a couple of my friends like them and I was wondering if anybody else likes them.

Their most popular song is Say This Sooner, and their current album is Southern Weather.

I picked this album up a few weeks ago, its pretty catchy. Im impressed by the fact that he re-did Amazing Grace on a major label album. Mad props.

Aaron is a good drummer, but he shouldn't be doing vocals all the time. The band falls into a very "generic" sound.

I can handle a little generic if the songs are good enough, and in this case I think they are.

i really like them i can see how they'd be a little generic but eh i dont care cause i still think theyre really good i cant wait to see them at warped tour
