For me to consider any band gods, they have to have at least 9 albums of above average material. Wolfmother having 1 album doesn't come close to making the cut, not to mention alot of their stuff isn't original.

I really like Wolfmother. They are a mix of old with new. It totally reminds me of Zeppelin with a whole new touch to it. They're great!

^ I never followed this up. It wasn't. Cool, that is. They weren't very good, just irritating. Don't like them very much anymore.

thought i'd bump this up. I've found that people either love them or hate them. oddly enough, both sides often cite the same arguments. I've heard people say they love them for being so remiscent of zeppelin and sabath, and people trash them for ripping off said bands.

I like them, but I dont think they're anything too original at all. They've got catchy lyrics and riffs, its well put together, and not repetitive. definitely a fun band. But i'm surprised they were so sh*t live, what made them irritating?
