Underoath (old skool like "Act Of Depression" old skool)

Old school underoath was not good, their new stuff is a lot better in my opinion.

completely disagree with you versa. christian hardcore has no opposition from me. half the bands that would fall into this catagory you wouldnt know they were into religion. which by the way i am totally against.

Norma Jean is fabulous

covle are you against religion? or new underoath? And yes by the sound alone you couldn't tell but the lyrics (not all the time) usually reflect a Christian message. They also may just be Christians and use music as a way of spreading their faith

and sparadical, Norma Jean is amazing.

I'm a huge fan of Norma Jean. I don't listen to a particular band because they are Christian Rock, and I don't listen to a particular band because they are not Christian Rock. It's all about the music they make.

I think the point of my topic was missed...uhhh...I meant like what do you think about the influence it has on kids and their role as role models

No influence, most good Christian bands people rarely realize they are christian bands, and if they try to make it really obvious then most of the time they suck.

id rather a band preach religion or no use of drugs than the messages portrayed by most pop culture icons such as 50 cent and britney spears.

I didnt know that there was such a thing as hardcore christian music :crazy:
