New album coming out in October "Chase This Light" the demos have leaked, but theres this really annoying beep that occurs about every 20 seconds in each song, so they're no good. But the opening track sounded great, and the single (see below) Big Casino is good also. Clarity is easily my favorite album.

Guilty pleasure. I have FUTURES and BLEED AMERICAN. There are a couple of duff tracks on both, but they make well crafted rock music. Thanks for the link Crowquill.

God, I haven't listened to these guys in ages. I've only got their 2 latest albums. I probably prefer Bleed American. Hear You Me will always be a long time favourite. Beautiful song.

The new Album is alright he doesnt do a whole lot of Long and powerful vocals as his previous album but again its a 5.5 on a scale of 1-Amazing(10)

I completely agree, its good but not nearly like Futures or Bleed American

i love JEW. without even hearing any of it (ok, i heard one song, but didn't need to), it's going straight to my xmas list. that band has never failed me.

I am asking for that C.D. for Christmas! Bleed American is my favorite Jimmy Eat World album. "The Authority Song" is my favorite Jimmy Eat World song. :)

I think Praise Chorus is one of the best songs...

^Praise Chorus is great. I think their self-titled doesn't have any filler songs. Sure, I like some more than others.

I just heard Chase This Light... and loved it.
So I'm in the process of listening to some more of these guys.

I remember "The Middle" was pretty killer way back, excited to hear more.

What ever happened to these guys? They just dissapeared.

They released Chase This Light in 2007 and they'll probably release another album sometime next year. They're all family men now so they're gonna take more time off between albums and tours etc.

The only albums i have though are Bleed American and Futures and they're both great.

Chase This Light was a pretty solid album in my mind.

I should download Chase The Light, I had no idea it existed for some reason. I figured Jimmy Eat World had shriveled up and died....

same here but it also looks like they had one in 2010 also called Invented. I'm going to have to download both of them.

The only song I know about them is The Middle.

Any other songs I should listen to?

You shouldn't just listen to songs. If you like 'The Middle' you should get their album Bleed American, it's a great introduction to the band and every song on it is really great. My favourite album though is Clarity, which you should also check out, 'Just Watch The Fireworks' is the best thing they've ever done in my opinion.

I listened to Clarity last week and I was really surprised how good it is. Very solid album, pretty much no filler.
