I like every their song. I really can't choose one. All songs of Cranberries are so different. Now i am listening to "just my imagination"... i just came home and i was feeling myself very tired... but this song is making me feel so much better...
...We'll always be this free
We will be living for the love we have
Living not for reality...
What about u? What is ur favorite song? I think u're also fan of Amy Lee and Evanescence... or not?

AmyLeeFan 10-21-2004 05:59 PM

Evanescence is great, you should try Auf der Maur, she rocks too!

Voices 10-29-2004 01:04 PM

Cranberries are a great band the voice that
woman has(Delores O' Riorden) is one of the best i would have to say for
this time period.
Just to name a few songs that are great!
Linger
Dreams
Zoombie
The icicle melts
Salvation
Free to decide
Hollywood

Go and buy anything from them you will not be disappointed. :)

Uknown_Egde 10-30-2004 09:57 PM

only song i like form 'em is Zombie, just because in Miami they have a fair evey year, and everytime i used to go they played this song on this ride. I thought it was on of the greatest songs for a while!! But after that I didn't like 'em much anymore

They WERE a great band...before they lost all their creative inspiration and settled upon writing "To The Faithful Departed". It was all downhill from then onwards. Next.

Spike*Spiegel 12-27-2006 10:25 PM

candlebox has a new song out, i believe. i heard it on the radio. either that or it was an old one that id never heard before. still sucked.

Back in my foolish young days when I knew no better, The Cranberries were my numbah one band. I got the lowdown on them.

I can assure you and everybody else in this thread that they have no new songs at all. In fact they haven't been active or writing any material at all since 2003. They're done. Finito. Perhaps forever.

Some of y'all might just be interested though to know that Dolores O'Riordan is thought to have a solo album coming out some time in mid-2007 called "Are You Listening". Might be worth buying. God knows, I won't be.

ct0dah 10-15-2007 05:28 PM

The Cranberries??

This might seem like a dumb question, but since they don't really get radio play, can the Cranberries be classified as indie rock?

=ladyface= 10-15-2007 05:39 PM

They got loads of radio play in the mid-90s and as far as I'm aware they weren't on an independent label.

Why does the genre matter? Writing an article of some sort?

Defensive? I was only wondering. :p: Pffft.

They never officially split up. I like their early stuff but they just got more poppy after that.

ZeppelinAir 10-16-2007 02:53 AM

i only liked Zombie, the other stuff never appealed to me

Zer0 10-16-2007 02:56 AM

Zombie is a brilliant song. Their first 2 albums were very good, well worth getting

SarahC 10-24-2007 10:08 AM

I recently became a Cranberries fan. I think it was after watching Click lol. Linger is in that movie and I just loved it.

Carm.bono 10-25-2007 06:58 PM

hey someone wanna tell me if i would be wrong in saying they seem liek an older, feminine version of O.L.P.? i dunno i was listenting to them the other day cause i think i have every CD Not Sure i got them from my dad but ya i noticed some similarities...

mr. goth glam 10-25-2007 10:35 PM

Really? A new album?

Oh, kickass.

Scarlett O'Hara 11-07-2011 11:59 PM

Ok guys, time to revive this thread! It's official, The Cranberries are releasing a new album on 14 February 2012. Their new track is Show Me The Way which I've posted below. I'm not sure whether I'm a huge fan of it yet, watch this space. I'm hoping with all my heart that the album will be solid/similar to their older style because I'm a huge fan boy.
