QOTSA without doubt. I hear Tool are pretty fantabulous too.

Pink Floyd they sound just like in the studio basically.

The Fall of Troy. Hands down, and if anyone disagrees, feel free to search youtube.
Portugal. The Man also puts on an amazing show I've heard. John sounds amazing live which sort of suprised me since he sings so high in some songs.

Nobody does it bigger or better
Its full on 100% from those guys every show. from start to finish

seconded- gogol SHREDS live... i was going to say Primus- i can't even imagine how awesome it would have been to see the tour where gogol opened for them...

KISS - Love or hate their music, it's ONE HELL of a show.

Black Crowes- Never seen another band play blues in E for 40 minutes and hold my attention.

Oasis- Very high marks for live playing, really rocked. But nothing to watch. Not even a good light show.

Tom Petty- I saw him on the 'Echo' tour in Toronto. Perfect outdoor show, hit after hit song, lying on the grass smoking J's. When he did the 'Full Moon Fever' era stuff, he had a big lighted chest on stage he took that felt mad hatter's hat out in ripped into 'Runnin Down a Dream'. What a show.

tool is amazing live. especially with the light shows and amazing vocals.
they sound just like they do on there albums.
its so amazing and worth every cent.

This is Tool 15 years ago, minus the lightshow they now use.

some people say that the lightshow at a tool performance takes away the excitement of the show. i dont get that. thats what i've heard. its like...wow. get a life dude.
