All those best guitarist threads are getting tedious now.

3 day ban for anyone mentioning either 'shredding' or 'technical ability'

What if I'm talking about shredding them and their "technical ability"?

Well I'm automatically not voting for the Dragonforce guys since all of their songs go something like this just in a different variation

"We will travel through mountains and slay the evil dragon with our swords of love and conquer fear from the world above and fly away to our dreams through the battlefield we go on"

Shouldn't they? their the ****ing dragon force.

I bought one of those gizmos that destroys junk mail etc. The technical ability of it's shredding was awesome to behold :D

And that's why I can't understand why people just pass him off as a shredder. I do prefer Tender Surrender though - it doesn't meander as much. Satriani is actually a great songwriter, especially Strange Beautiful Music era. Malmsteen is rubbish IMO.
