Lawn Social

This is one of my best friend's bands. They just got out of the studio recording their first demo. Im really happy with Knight Falls, and On E. But Fasten your seatbelts was always my favourite song to listen to live and they loved playing it. It came out a little bunk on the recording. You can hardly hear the backin guitar throughout the riffs starting on the first one. But never the less, I'd love to hear what you guys think and im sure the band would as well.

i likem... they have the potential to be the next great band :P

They are not bad at all. The vocals are a little too melodic for me and could do with a little more oomph but I would'nt mind getting their demo. The sound on it is crisp and clean.

not really my sort of music, but i like the guitar. i'd agree with jackhammer, the vocals are too melodic for me either.

You should become a screamer and join the band, it was solid though.

djchameleon 03-02-2008 06:10 AM

yeah , those vocals sound so lonely.....they should add backing vocals and have them harmonize with the lead singer

Laces Out Dan! 03-02-2008 01:37 PM

They do have backing vocals in Night Falls. But yea, nobody else in the band really sings.

sleepy jack 03-02-2008 04:10 PM

I don't think they sounded lonely, they just didn't sound passionate at all.

Farfisa 03-03-2008 09:47 AM

The vocals need some work but everything else is fine.

Check out a song Jordy (the singer) just wrote...its just him and his guitar.
