I use my voice as an instrument.... tried guitar for a few years... but it didn't fit with my fingers....
And I enjoy singin, guess you enjoy playing bass??

And that is also the reason for doing music.... having a good time??

David Frost 10-14-2004 02:32 PM

i have played guitar in 2 bands, bass in one, and i play drums for fun.

Alter Bridge 10-14-2004 03:15 PM

I play the guitar and sing, i find it kinda strange that i don't find it that hard to do both at the same time.

Opium 10-14-2004 03:52 PM

I sing, play piano, guitar, and I used to play violin. I'm eager to learn bass and the Chinese Erhu, though time's a stretch.

jibber 10-14-2004 04:19 PM

used to play piano and clarinet, now i play guitar and sing occasionally, but thats only when the people i play with are doing a softer/accoustic song

covle 10-14-2004 04:21 PM

piano, drums ages ago, and saxaphone are the ones i have played. i play bass and try to sing.

itchytasty 10-14-2004 05:47 PM

i play the drums.

i can also play the guitar... well, not really... better than the Linkin Park guy at least.

Pit-Bull84 10-14-2004 06:34 PM

In my band I do lead guitar, back up vocals, and all the songwriting, so I play mainly jsut the guitar, but I can play drums, guitar, and bass.
I have three guitars.
1 Gibson Les Paul Custom (for my "drop-c" tunings), a Les Paul Studio (for my drop-d tunings) and a Les Paul Special Faded (for my standard tunings).
I play out of a Marshall JCM 2000 Triple Super Lead 100 Half Stack, but I'm saving up for a Randall.
I also have an electic drum set which I only use for recording when I'm writing songs and a GNX4 GeNetX Guitar Workstation which I only use for recording and for a setting which makes my guitar sound like a bass when I'm writing some songs.
As far as pedals, I've got a bunch, but I mainly use my Dunlop Cry Baby Wah, Dunlop Roto-Vibe, Dunlop TS-1 Tremolo, and an M-135 Smart Gate Pedal.

i just bought a randall halfstack from musicians friend. the g2 series 200w head with a 200w cab. watch out though, when i recieved my cabinet it didnt work properly and i had to have it sent away to be fixed again. just a warning. the head sounds amazing and for its cost, i couldnt ask for more.. but if your cabinet is mono, i suggest just using that

i wish that i could play an instrument as i have always wanted to play the drums or the piano but the only thing im good at is singin and writin songs :(

MacDaddyX12 10-22-2004 07:06 AM

I play the guitar, alto sax, and baritone sax all at a beginner-intermidiate borderline level. I've been wanting to learn the keyboard, but so far I can only play very few things by ear (or so i try).

ConnradCKY32 10-22-2004 12:28 PM

I dont see how ever one thinks they can play drums. You actually have to have talent and hardwork to be good at an instrument or say u play it.

Kali 10-23-2004 05:55 PM

I used to play bass.

jibber 10-23-2004 10:14 PM

^^uhhh, who was that directed at? ever thought that all these people actually do have talent and actually can play these insruments?

fallen 11-24-2004 11:36 PM

i sing play the guitar & harmonica

Raine 11-28-2004 12:34 AM

Guitar, bass and drums. I'm not the best drummer in the world though.
I love the guitar and bass. I've been playing the guitar since I was 6 and the bass came naturally to me a couple of years later.

I think I'm better witha guitar. Some people will argue that I'm a better bassist. (They're smoking too much)

AFaceWithin 11-28-2004 11:52 AM

i've been playing guitar for 5 years currently fronting my own band. i also play bass and drums.

TheBig3 11-28-2004 12:41 PM

Autistic 12-01-2004 11:28 PM

in my picture over there is my 1970 Fender acoustic... my fkin brother dropped it and now the neck is beginning to separate from the body.. pissed me off

i also made myself an electric guitar a few years ago.. its a pile.. just a simple body, double humbuckers, tone and volume knobs and a tone switch. only sounds good when i got the distortion on.

my other guitar is a gibson. black, same as above, only sounds soo much better. paid nothing for it too, a guy i was in a band with left it in the warehouse we were practicing in, and never came back to get it, and then he moved away.. snooze.. lose.

and im fixing my brothers guitar.. everybody laff at him, he has this "nevada".. hahah its like one of those 70 dollar jobs you can get at a department store. he cant get any sound out of it.
thats my collection

Autistic 12-01-2004 11:35 PM

umm

apparently my picture is missing....

Han 12-02-2004 12:08 PM

used to play the keyboard but gave up, I live for singing so I guess thats my instrument...Im a singer, me.

PurpleWolf 02-14-2011 10:34 PM

I spent my youth learning how to play the Soprano and Treble Recorders, there was also time spent playing the Piano/keyboard aaaaand I ditched them because they were things my parents wanted me to learn.
So noww I am teaching myself how to play the acoustic guitar. Its .... more difficult than I thought so Ima find some lessons.
