Riot Grrrl!!!
 

Some help is needed here... does anybody have any mixes hanging around from this stonking early-90's movement? I was watching an Erase Errata video and I just followed the links until I ended up reading about third-wave feminism, Bratmobile and Bikini Kill.

I'm very familiar with the late 70's/ early 80's riot grrrl forerunners (Slits, Kleenex, Raincoats, Spex, etc) but I would love some recommendations!

bands that came out in that movement were L7, babes in toyland, 7 year bitch

you may also like le tigre and gossip although they are more recent though

Red Aunts were the only one I could tolerate. I think that's because they were closer to garage rock than riot grrrl. But people still seem to catagorise them in that movement.
