This ones kind of a ballad I guess, and the guitar solo was voted #1 by the readers of Guitar for the Practicing Musician in the 80's: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvyBiHGr2b8 |
some bands dont like to onslaught you with heaviness or rockness every track they like to be more melodic or acousticky does being melodic or beautiful mean a ballad ..??? |
The Forgotten by Green Day (Off the 'Tre' record from 2012) is my favorite ballad.

Wind of Change by Scorpion is my favorite Ballad.
Other ballads that I love included Photograph by Nickelback and If Everyone Cared by Nickelback(I know those are unpopular opinions of course). |
I also like November Rain too, I forgot to mention that.

This is pretty amazing. I saw this thread, thought "I was just about to make one like this!" saw Dianne's name all over it, was about to post to tell her she pre-empted me. Checked the OP (who started this thread I thought?) - it's me! Not only is it me, it's me with one of my very first posts! Joined in 2008, posted this October 2008. So I actually beat myself to the punch! Unbelievable! Who woulda thunk it? And the thread resurrected 10 years after the last post made, and in total a staggering 13 years since I made it! You can't get rid of me! I'm everywhere!
