whats up with there last album i spinned it once but ...IDK is it just a straight pop album ...????

Norg 10-10-2020 08:14 PM

i didnt like LP when the first came out but after there second record which i felt was more darker i digged some of there songs in there short career

SGR 10-22-2020 06:20 AM

I didn't know anyone back in high school who wasn't into Hybrid Theory. I liked Meteora too, but they lost me a little bit with Minutes to Midnight. All the stuff after just didn't do it for me.

Not sure 20 years is a short career. Also I'd say roughly they were getting less and less dark with every album (with Hunting Party as an anomaly).

I haven't got into the last 2 but they were my first favourite band and really shifted me in a different path to a lot of the kids around me going towards gangster rap. I like all the albums somewhat equally (bar the 2 I haven't given a chance) because they kinda started mellowing as I was getting older and a little less angry and angsty haha.

How can it be official if Linkin Park didn’t cosign?

The Batlord 05-18-2021 09:59 PM

Why is this thread a park?

SnakeSpiritDude 05-19-2021 09:26 AM

Linkin Park is Limp Bizkit but with less frat bro and more sad bro.

IDK there 2nd album seemed pretty dark or more mature then there 1st album but your right after that they went more and more umm... massive production and lighter

I was surprised to see them play for Finland in this year's Eurovision contest.

The Batlord 06-12-2021 05:25 PM

Somebody wake me up once they get past homo erectus.

i have to ask..........but why is this posted in a Linkin Park thread?

FETCHER. 02-18-2022 02:25 PM

I’ll give that a listen, thank you. Linkin Park was one the first bands I listened to from rock/nu metal so I love going back to them from time to time.

FETCHER. 02-18-2022 03:21 PM

Yeah I think so. It will be cliche but the first song that put them on the radar for me personally was the song they done with Jay-Z. I didn’t grow up listening to them but my boyfriend did so it’s nostalgic for him too. I wish I had listened to them growing up so I had the opportunity to see them while Chester Bennington was still alive :(.

Yep good music on good Friday

Synthgirl 04-04-2023 04:00 AM

Wow, 20 years?! 2003 feels like it was like, five years ago at most.

lol no way!

I was in college back in 2003 it doesn't feel like five years to me. I've done so much in that 20 year span.

Norg 04-06-2023 10:38 AM

yeah it's my favorite LP album even more so than Hybrid Theory which is probably an unpopular opinion.

Key 04-08-2023 04:05 PM

This is such a sad performance but also amazing.

The crowd singing </3

Key 04-14-2023 08:33 PM

My box set came in the mail and it is amazing! 5 separate pieces of vinyl including meteora and live in texas. A really cool signed poster that I will hang in my office. A lot of stickers and it's all fit nicely inside a booklet style thing that sits really nicely with my other vinyl. Money well spent, this is gonna be fun to go through and look at.

Key 04-14-2023 09:56 PM

Yeah they also put in a bunch of CDs and dvds of live shows so that'll be really fun to dive into. The vinyl is decent quality. Had meteora on the turntable and it was a vibe.

akselthecaptor 09-04-2023 01:56 AM

linkin park is nice

Norg 10-25-2024 02:40 AM

Mindy 08-13-2025 09:28 AM
