I'm sorry I did jsut make a fool out of myself you guys are right.

While we are on the subject, what do you guys consider to be the difference between Grunge and post-grunge, musically speaking?

Post-grunge is a type of pop rock that came into existence in the wake of grunge and is directly influenced by grunge bands like Pearl Jam and Nirvana.

Not really, Vedder's voice is smoother and far less throaty.

The only thing Creed and Pearl Jam have in common is thatthey're both ****ty post-grunge bands. Matt Cameron is awesome though.

I love the possible theory behind this though.

Could a band be so disliked by someone that it bends the space-time continuum so they they can influence themselves to the point that they are ripoffs of the sound they created - before they created it?

To answer your question - Seether's "Fake it" has a hook like a Pink song, and is ape-ing the holy crap out of Nirvana.

I saw Creed Sep. 12th in Atlanta.

They still put on one of the best live shows you'll ever see, regardless of Stapp's vocal issues.
Staind was great too, and Lewis still sounds the same as always.

Stapp's voice has improved alot over the last couple of months, but he still can't hit alot of the notes like he used to....which makes me worry about the honesty of this new album coming out.

He still sounds great, but he's lost that signature growl that was always present in his vocals. He only does it sparingly now, obviously trying to preserve his voice for the tour.
He isn't 100% in the new single "Overcome", either. Only delves down deep a few times.
Of course, alcohol and age probably have taken a bit of a toll on him.
I don't know why I expect him to be able to sing like he did 10 years ago.

My only worry now, is that they will autotune the hell out of his vocals on this new album.
However, he does sound great in "Overcome" and the brand new single, "Rain".
Still can't help but wonder how much more powerful those vocals would have been 6 years ago.

I've been waiting to see them live for nearly 8 - 9 years.
Worth every penny. Can't wait to see Tremonti again once Alter Bridge tours Atlanta.

Creed with staind? Heh. That's like a banquet of mashed peas and ginger ale.

So, on the Lex and Terry show (Only decent morning radio show in South 'Bama, it seems) they were mocking a live, acoustic performance of Creed.

More specifically, My Own Prison.
I believe the line was "Gabriel stands and confirms"
But on the recording it sounds like "Gabriel's stanky fangers"

Once they upload the podcast, I'll link it. Honest to god, it was hillarious listening to them try and decifer Scott Stapp.
