psh more like for slayer killswitch engage and bfmv

The Unfan 06-03-2009 09:37 PM

Behemoth are pretty terrible live anyway. Plus they haven't released anything worth listening to since Thelema.

Slayer are great but the rest of the bill leaves a lot to be desired. Manson has the random good song but I'm not sure if he has enough to make a good show out of his material, Behemoth despite having a handful of incredible albums are a disappointment live, and Cannibal Corpse will likely not play much of their early material.

cannibal corpse w/o Chris Barnes < poop

All That Remains would be killer.

AshleighJane 06-04-2009 10:37 AM

They've had Unearth open for them before.

When Corporate sponsors offer you large sums of money I'm guessing.

I think Pobody pretty much summed it up. I think it comes down to not being able to draw your own crowd anymore too.

Unrelenting 06-09-2009 11:45 AM

^^ I disagree. Slayer can still bring in a huge crowd. A lot of it happens to be older generations, though.

Thought we were talking about cannibal corpse and behemoth.... :shycouch:

IWP 06-10-2009 10:34 AM

Well that's one show I definently won't be going to.

LiquidFlesh 07-05-2009 06:08 PM

So long as Cannibal Corpse plays Hammer Smashed Face, I don't give a ****. I would like to see more tours with strictly one main sub genre of metal though, and not just a big pile of "metal" bands.
