Default Any1 here like Sikth?

I went to see sikth on the 17th of jan after not really hearing of them before. I was absolutely blown away by the talent and range of the singers voice and the brutallity of the double bass drums and technical guitar riffs.
I also recommend Avenged Sevenfold to anyone that likes Sikth's style. they are both hugely talented both musically and vocally.

They replace emotion with technical work. They're too empty for me

I couldnt agree more.I have been friends wit MikeE Goodman, the vocalist with dreads from SikTh for a good while now and they are the most diverse band I have possibly ever heard and Im not just sayin that because I know them.Ive seen them about 25times since 2001.Ive got setlists, picks, signed posters. There my favourite band at the moment and have been for a while.I dont understand how anyone can say they replace emotion with technicality...they create a huge amount of emotion in there songs.Theres a piano ballad,a spoken word poem by MikeE.He was scouted by Disney to do voiceovers before SikTh started to take off...and if you want to know why....check out the spoken word last track on there album..'When will the forest speak?'

Default Sikth - The Trees Are All Dead & Dried Out Wait For Something Wild

1. Scent of the Obscene
2. Pussyfoot
3. Hold My Finger
4. Skies of Millennium Night
5. Emerson (Pt. 1)
6. Peep Show
7. Wait for Something Wild
8. Tupelo
9. Can't We All Dream?
10. Emerson (Pt. 2)
11. How May I Help You?
12. (If You Weren't So) Perfect
13. Such the Fool
14. When Will the Forest Speak...?

One of the most inventive bands in years, the album is a ride. Amazing guitar work coupled with a twin vocal attack that showcases a wide range of styles. The music is tight and original. Get into it.

i was into it when i came out.. when was that? 3 years ago? Skies of Millennium night is my favourite.

the new album's pretty good. i thought the'd go all emocore, but although the riffs are a bit toned down its a solid album, and justins vocals are far more prominant (which is good as i think he's the better vocalist of the two)

good live band too.

My metalhead friend recently introduced them to me. Cool band- they are very original. I don't have any of their albums yet though.

Dude! Sikth puts Avenged to SHAME!
AX7 is a glorified Backstreet Boys version of modern pop metal.

Dude, I haven't heard Sikth in AGES! The vocals weren't the tastiest slice, but all around, they are a great ****in' band.
