Have LimpBizkit had their time?
Have LimpBizkit had their time? Well i remember a couple of year ago when if limpbizkit would have played a gig a brixton academy me and all my mates would have been there and it would have been sold out in no time. but no none of us give a sh#t. i foned up the box office to see if they had tickets and they said less than half have been sold. i think after dropping out of U.K's download festival alot of British Bizkit fanz turned on them because I know many people that bought a ticket based on limpbizkit being there. In the end metallica turned up so no-one really cared. but i think they have lost alot of their fan base. Anyone else?

yeah, they suck. The only song I ever thought was ok of theirs wasn't even really their song. George Michael's Faith cover was decent, at least for limp bizcut, or however you spell it.
I never liked them or had any respect for them. they just do the same thing over and over again, to me all their songs sound the same. I think its fitting that they're losing their fans, it shows that a band needs to have at least some originality and at least try to do something new once in a while.

nicely said jibber
I agree, I've never been a huge fan though, but then I think it's because I find the whole rap/rock thing they do questionable and uninteresting, plus I think Fred Durst needs his kneecaps busted, but that just me :D
I think some of their first songs were good, but then everything kind of went downhill from there. They began to take on the MTV audience and basically just play for them and that'll ruin any band given enough time.
I like the Significant Other CD, and songs like Faith, and the Rollin' one with all the rappers in it...actually i didnt mind Hotdog as an album either. Some of their new stuff isnt too bad, but some of its not too good.
So, I suppose you can say i still kinda like them. I made another thread on them a while back. |
hmmm...I like about 2 songs ,thats it. LimpBizkit isn't really my taste..yuck.
have you all heared the cover they did for "The Who" - behind blue eyes?! ERRGG they killed the ****ing song! :band: man i love these smilies..so cute! :band: |
yea they did i hated that and then all those dumbass people think that he made the song and ****. taht pisses me off so much...btw his version sounds like ****

lol half of these people..or at least 80% don't even know "the Who"..I really love them..specially "Teenage wasteland"..gets me anytime! and Limp Bizkit didn't even do that angry part, like in the original song...and that makes it even worse! |
I dont really like any bands that did it all for the nookie
errm yea that sucks majorly. k. :)
i agree with most the guys about this. limpbizkit never had my respect as musicians. especially after wes left. but you can garentee a bizkit gig will always be a good laugh with your mates.
I like the remake, but not as much as the original. They did an amazing job remaking faith tho, IMO.
Never liked them in the first place
word to that 2tone. Indeed.
Rap "metal" is DEAD. Good riddance.
Rap metal should have never started in the first place. One of the worst genres ever.
I dont like Limb bisket, They Just suck to me.
They never really had any artistic cred. Good riddance indeed.
i think the fact fred durst is hated doesnt help their cause. with music changing, id say they have.
I liked their first couple of albums, but once they covered Behind Blue Eyes my interest in them kind of faded...
They're running out of fresh ideas which is a shame because they were a really original band. I still enjoy allot of their music but the newer stuff seems kinda repetetive.
LimpBizkit is actually a boy band...
Wow I just had an image of the Backstreet Boys doing a cover of Break Stuff...

you obviously never heard 'behind blue eyes'.. so soft that not even the highly regarded miss Spears could have done it better.. |
It`s because they`re been found out for the one dimensional crap they really are.
They`re nothing more than a footnote in rock history , like A Flock Of Seagulls , Winger , Candlebox , ect ect ect. |
I like a couple of there songs but I wouldn't go out and buy there ablum, 'cause eventually I think Durst would hurt my ears, and the music would get boring to the extent of :banghead:
You know, five years ago, I said something along the lines of "Who the hell is gonna care about limp bizkit five years from now?"
Well, wasn't I the stupid one. |

yes they had they need to leave now
to an area unknown.
I think Metal_Head has had his time, and needs to leave. He reminds me of a kid in my school who pulls tons of sh*t out of his ass without even thinking before he speaks.
You know something, I feel bad for the band, because Fred is really caught up in what goes on in the pages of People and Us Weekly. I kinda like the band, but the image they've surrounded themselves in.
Heres an example. I went to the last Summer Sanitarium concert, LB was playing there along with the deftones, linkin park, and mudvayne (and obviously Metallica since its their show) and all the bands were selling merch their, but its mostly t-shirts and stickers and crap. not Limb bizkit, they were selling backpacks...like for school. What market is that going toward? When I was in high school not so long ago no one used backpacks endorsed by anyone. That was clearly aimed at the Middle school crowd (11-14). |
Also that "eat you alive" song was fuking abhorent.
limp bizkit sucks. plain and simple. just another crappy ass nu metal band. plus fred durst is a f*cking wierdo. i read somewhere that he has a large tatoo of kurt cobain on his stomach or somewhere that no one could possibly miss.
