It's not neccesarily about the studio work. They still put on a great live show despite there old old age. It's a shame, I would kinda hope this is a PR stunt, but it seems like the end for Aerosmith, judging by the comments on both sides ( Perry & Tyler )

I don't know if this is a stunt. I heard Tyler had to quit for medical reasons. It seems Steve is suffering from a new phenomenon where aging male rock star turn into women. He/She is hoping to reverse the process. (I'm lol:)

I'll second that, which means giving Permanent Vacation some leeway as being a decent album.

They're looking to replace him, and I hope they get Josh Todd to kill two birds with one stone.

Bono and Lars both seem like huge douches and I still like there bands. Who cares what they are like in person, the music is all that matters. Plus, I find it hard to judge people that I don't know personally, it just seems to be in bad taste.

But judging by today's stories, it seems like Tyler is blaming "the people that are putting out Perry's solo album". Supposedly, the 2 jammed together on like Tuesday or something so we shall see how it goes.

yeah thats all good and fine, but my point is I can believe he got tossed, I just can't believe it took this long.

I don't doubt this is true, he just relapsed which has probably amplified his douchitude and made him all funked up.

But it doesn't seem like he got tossed, he left the band without the rest of Aerosmith's knowledge.

It's confirmed. Guess we'll have to wait a bit longer. This also confirms without a shadow of a doubt that Steven Tyler is a ****ing douche.

I was deeply saddened by that news. :(

I really don't give a flying fuck as I haven't listened to Aerosmith in nearly 20 years, but I'd rather he just stay in the band than to have yet another historical band continue with a new singer instead of starting a new project.
