anyone know any legit and legal sites where you can listen to rock music for free? replies much appreciated.

With the keyword in that sentence being "listen" I'd suggest just searching for streaming audio or "radio" sites for whatever genre of music your most interested in. If by listen you actually mean download, well.... that's a toughie.

this is kind of lame, but a friend of my recommends it. ( I have kazaa, that sort of throws out the legal issue) Try launch on yahoo. it's free but it has commercials.

Yeah Ill use yahoo sometimes... They dont have many songs though. Just a few by the bands I look for, if they even have the band.

I hate launch, its not Mac friendly at all, but who needs em'. (come on, I'm waiting for alll you Bill Gates fluffers to chime in.)
