Question Melodic Metal or Groove Metal?

Tell me guys, just like the title says, do you like Melodic Metal or Groove Metal more?

Personally I like Melodic Metal more.. Inflames and Insomnium are probably my favorite almost strictly melodic metal bands. But some consider Pantera to be Groove metal and they are one of my all time farovite bands so.. Anyway let me know what you think!

That`s like saying some people consider Korn to be nu metal! Pantera are the definative groove metal band and nothing less.....even though Exhorder might debate that. Personally, I slightly prefer groove metal.

I like both. Pantera was the band who really got me into metal in the first place, way back in public school, when Far Beyond Driven came out. But there are times when I want to liest to metal, but with a little more melody.

To me, the most wonderful thing about metal is that since there are so many genres, you can really listen to whatever the hell you want, and it's still gonna rock.

......and the women sound as good as the men too. I`m listening to Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy at the moment and Angela Gossow is one hell of a singer.
