hello i am new and im just saying hi, but why is the metal and rock forum mixed ? i don't want to have to skim around ****ty topics about nirvana and 3 doors down **** them. Anyways i like metal and hardcore, i've been listening to from a second story window, black dahilia murder and dead to fall nonstop lately and that's about it

no really it is the rock/metal forum. We could use some more fans of Dead To Fall and the like in here. You have their new album right? Whats your favorite song on it. I like Stand Your Ground cause it has the most amazing 2-step beat ever. I love dancin'

yeh the singing goes perfectly with the guitar riffs in that song. that song and bastard set of dreams are good songs. It's awesome how he sings " a thousand open ears and still not a word to say" if you like them check out judas cradle, they're a little more metalcore but still good **** dl we are all statistics we just haven't died yet.

my band is playing with them in a month or two. im not a huge fan. they are just so damn unoriginal.

their first cd was unoriginal but their second cd was good and they are starting to find their style.

I'm also new. But I'm guessing the purpose of the rock/metal forum is to encourage diversity. If you want to talk only about metal, go to a site such as metaltabs.com. They'll get pissed at you if you talk about anything other than metal.
