Battle of the Bands Rock Edition Season 2! Nominations!
 

Remember that time the Awesome Comus organised a battle of the bands for the prog/psychedelic/classic rock forums? And wasn't it awesome? Well here's the second season of that, but this time all Rock, Metal, Prog and Psychedelic is allowed!

The nominations and seeding procedure will be as follows:

Each member may nominate 10 new bands, if a band has already be nominated they may add extra support to other nominated bands to increase their chances in seeding. There is no limit to this. If you nominate another band that is already nominated it will count as one more vote of support. You can only post twice, once for nominations and initial support, and then later to support bands that have since been nominated.

For the seeding, each band will be put into one of 5 tiers, the most nominated bands will be in the first and so on.

Round one will comprise of many polls of 5 bands, each poll will run for 2 days simultaneously with 4 other polls. The bands chosen for each poll will be one from each tier.

1st: The David Bowie Bracket (Most popular 20% based on Nomination/support)
2nd: The Frank Zappa Bracket
3rd: The King Crimson Bracket
4th: The Velvet Underground Bracket
5th: The Ethan Smith is Rolled and Stoned Bracket (least popular 20% based on nomination/support)

Also David Bowie is excluded from the competition as a previous winner. Nominations for Bowie will be ignored.
