Reading through the rest of the posts since yesterday, it seems my reference threw quite a few people off..........sorry for that. I was just stating when their best albums came out, and not when they were formed. I can assure you, that I`m well aware of when these bands were formed. |

Here are my reactions to your list. :) Good albums: Death- Symbolic Melvins- Houdini Corrosion of Conformity- Deliverance Sepultura- Roots Barely qualify as 90s albums: Slayer- Seasons in the Abyss Megadeth- Rust in Peace Good albums but these bands released better albums in the 00s: Meshuggah- Destroy Erase Improve Neurosis-Through Silver in Blood Examples of why I don't rate 90s metal very highly: Pantera- A Vulgar Display of Power Korn- Korn Machine Head- Burn My Eyes White Zombie- La Sexorcisto The rest are not albums I've heard. |

Kreator like a lot of European thrash and power metal bands, suffered some teething problems in their early discography, and so most of their stuff in the 80`s I found very hit and miss. The three best Kreator albums are "Coma of Souls" 1990, "Cause for Conflict" 1996 and "Outcast" 1997. Sure....there is a heavy Slayer influence on parts of those albums, but they are the band`s best releases IMO. I suppose the reason that I love 90`s metal so much, is that out of all the metal genres there are, groove metal is probably my favourite and groove metal was a dominant metal genre in the 90`s. Groups like Lamb of God are carrying on that tradition in the 00`s. Also Progressive metal really expanded and took off in the 90`s as well. |

The last four that you don`t like, well they are all commercial of which 3 are groove metal and 1 nu-metal, and as they say its just a question of choice here. |
