Go for it anyway. "Night Sight" reminds me of Yes, but you should like the next song "Lightning" which shows Enslaved has definitely been spinning Crack the Skye. This is also their heaviest record since Mardraum.

Excellent album from one of the top metal bands; easily my favourite among the stuff I've heard this year. Lightening, Night Sight, Ethica Odini all own... the only weak part is the 2 min interlude Axioma.

Yea. I've listened to 6 of their 11 releases. Each one is better than the other, but all still rock. I need to buy the other five though.

It's really good. Enslaved never really has disappointed. One of the best best of '10.

Enslaved's new album is amazing. Much better than their previous effort Vertebrae. This album really goes back to the band's black metal roots without compromising on the progressive elements of later Enslaved albums. I rank this up there with Isa as among their best.

I have just finished listening to it. It isn't better than Vertebrae, but it is as good as Vertebrae.

Really? I liked Vertebrae but found some of the progressive elements to be somewhat awkward at times and the black metal sound that defines Enslaved's music seemed to be lacking in some songs. I think the new album is much better in this regard and it's slowly becoming my favorite Enslaved album. I also think the clean vocals are better on A E O.

well, I probably need to listen the new album some more, but Vertebrae is one of my all time favorite metal albums
