Who would win: Evanescence or Auf der Maur?
 

Let's say Evanescence is competing against Auf der Maur on stage, who do you think would rock the most?

I like melisa or however you spell it, but there aren't many frontwomen like amy, her voice is cutting, and its hard to match her on that. Her band is god awful. Get rid of distortion and get a lead player worth his weight, your voice demands talent.

i'd say auf der maur - she's got smashing pumpkins and APC on her resume. plus she speaks fluent french. voulez vous couchez avec l'elephant? i dont know what im doing

no, much hasnt changed. but now that i think about, i dont really see how evanescence and auf der maur are pitted against each other in the first place. i dunno, its my opinion, but auf der maur is so much more talented and have better songs. but that maybe just me.

I have made this idea into a poll.

well, I think Evanesence is great and has an excellent voice.....I'm listening to my Immortal right now....
and Auf de Mur was great in Hole, but that is about all I can say for her....personally, I don't see what all the hype is about her...Darcy of the Pumpkins was WAY better

yeah, evanescence is like.......awesome. it would be cool to go see they're concert. amy lee has a great voice, my parents think she has an awful voice, i dunno, thy're old people who are mostly into country, what can i say, lol.

id have to say that i like evanesence better.....cause...i dont really know i ve heard them...and their sound i just dont like too much....but who gives a **** about what i think...its just my opinion and everyone has one

i'm gonna say both are waste of time. If you want good opera style rock vocals check out Nightwish or Therion. both do it infinitly better.

back to life was an ok song for a week or so. but after a while evanesence really started to irritate me. audf de maur..well, as a solo artist shes ****. she was ok while nothing special in hole.
