Default Dying Fetus

Dying Fetus

Dying Fetus is an American death metal band, known for their outspoken political views. They are one of the few death metal bands who follow a political nature. Their earlier lyrics were usually about graphic gory themes.

I can't stand bands like these. Personally I find controversial (that's an understatement for these) themes too much and far too dark. They may be conveying a message that might be morally correct and is something I agree on with regards to the environment but surely there are other ways of getting the message across to the goverment than in the form of extremism, violence basically, no better than Nazism or the attitudes of the BNP.

I'm sorry, I have no time for a bunch of thugs or are using something like this as a chance to act like criminals. I've seen far better examples of conveying a message effectively to the goverment. Sorry, this isn't music!

So why bother posting in this thread?

Seems you did have the time. I am guessing you were offended by the name and decided to make nothing but ignorant comments about them.
Thanks for playing friend.

I am not a violent person. I am probably one of the least violent people in the world. But if I knew you personally I would probably punch you in the face and and keep punching you until you started to look like Jared Leto in Fight Club. Since I don't know you, I would tell you horrible things on here but, even though I am not a regular poster on here, I really like reading the posts on this forum and I do not want to get banned for insulting someone like you. I just thought I should let you know this.

Not my favorite death metal band but I do like them and it's always nice to hear a death metal band that doesn't confine themselves to totally generic death metal lyrics.

Yea they are not one of my favorites, but I do like them for that very reason. They are not your typical Death Metal band when it comes to lyrics.
Breath of fresh air IMO.

They have one good album that I know of, "Destroy the Opposition" which has some thick groovy death metal riffs, but they went to shi-ite after that. Some day I may check out "Killing on Adrenaline".

I'm posting in this thread because I feel strongly about bands like this. You have no right to question my ability to have an opinion on something. I don't know how it's being ignorant exactly. Yes, the name of the band does make me feel sick and I'm a big rock music fan btw and actually have friends that are goths/mossers so I'm not some rock hater before you say!

I'm just curious why a person who has "no time for" this band would take the time to respond to a thread about them. I mean either you have time for them or you don't, right? You can't have it both ways. Your objections to Dying Fetus are also particularly interesting in light of the fact that, according to another post of yours, you apparently consider Eminem "the best rap artist in the world".
