Default Gibson SG

Hi,does anyone have a Gibson SG Voodoo that they're willing to sell, because ive looked everywhere and Can't find the Voodoo. I'm willing to pay up to £1000 cash for one in good condition, with the case.

www.musiciansfriend.com - $949.00 NEW W/case. I don't know how that translates to pounds, but either way I want the difference as a "service Charge".

Lol, you wish! But seeing as Gibson don't manufacture the guitar anymore, most shops simply put the status as "sold-out". Which is exactly the case here. If anyone DOES have a Voodoo SG, then please reply, even if you don't want to sell it, but just to brag and make me jealous about the dirty pickups!

Why don't you just buy an Epiphone SG, mod the pickups, and not worry about the wanker black matte finish and all the other silly metal asthetics that come along with the voodoo.

If your willing to pay all that money for a moderately good guitar, why not go the whole nine yards and buy a Les Paul???

as much as i love the sound of a les paul, and the width of the neck, the balance on those things are horrible to me. My old bassist had an 81 i believe and i played it once, and never again, everytime i moved onstage it felt like it was going to tip over like a weeble-wobble.

I feel The exact Same way about Les Pauls, plus they're weigh a ton.

I have a Tanglewood Starfire (AKA a Les Paul copy.) I don't really like the width of the neck, it's way too wide, it weighs a lot too much, and I generally prefer playing my Squier.

That's why I would like to buy an SG. And why the Voodoo? Because it's not just an SG is it? Its something different that I can really wow my mates with. It's also something I can really play with pride, because it's something really original.

I prefer wider necks, ever since I got my Kramer Striker. It got stolen at a show we played out in california. I play a Paul Reed Smith now mostly, nicest guitar ive played to date. The balance is good, the weight isnt much, and the sound is awesome. It also looks pretty damn nice, high gloss blue stain with gold hardware:

House parties and shows where i think it might get out of hand I play one of my others that im not so careful with (either my jackson, or my fender)
